You could have lunch at the Logan's Rock Inn, and learn about the young naval officer who got himself into a lot of mischief, and no little expense. Walk from the pub to Logan's Rock, and look for basking sharks off of Porthcurno beach. If you walk east from Logan's Rock, you can walk down into Penberth Cove, which is really beautiful, and then back along the road to the Logan Rock Inn.
